Message posted on Perth Mountain Bike Club website:-

Hi Everyone.
I'd like to extend an invitation to all MTB riders in Perth to come along for a social ride from the Camel Farm this Sunday the 17th of April at 8am.
We'll be splitting up into 3 groups of different abilities and doing a 10, 15 or 22km loop taking in the excellent Kalamunda Circuit.
PMBC will be sponsoring the Day licenses, so it will be no cost to you.
for any questions, please contact me on info@perthmtb.asn.au

Saturday April 9, 2011 - Part One - Kings Park "for the crazy ones"

Ride Organiser: Helmuth / Eugenie
Organiser's email: helmuth@thegreenswing.net
Organiser's mobile telephone no: 0438 718 247
Ride style: Training
Terrain: Hills
Estimated Distance: 20 kms ?
Start Point: Boat Shed, South Perth
Start Time: 7:00 am

RIDE SECTION ONE

Here is a suggestion. The crazy ones meet at 7am at the boat shed for a couple of loops around Kings Park. We can catch up with the group at the Narrows (north side) at 8.30 to head towards Freo as part of RIDE SECTION TWO. Our preference is to take the hilly sections through Mosman Park, others can take the easy route. Coffee stop in Freo! Easy ride home (although Helmuth is suggesting going up Reserve Street as well...).

Don't forget to let the ride organiser (in this case Helmuth / Eugenie) know if you're joining this part of the ride.

Saturday April 9, 2011 - Part Two - Friendly Freo

Ride Organiser: Terry Dowling morgan4four@yahoo.com.au
Organiser's Mobile No: 0414 730 970
Ride style: Social
Terrain: Mainly Flat
Estimated Distance: 65 kms+
Start Point: Maylands, Narrows - North Side
Start Time: Maylands 8:00, Narrows 8:30

RIDE SECTION TWO

We're planning the old familiar "Friendly Freo" with the usual obligatory coffee stop (in Fremantle). We'll have the usual Maylands Railway Station start at 8:00 am then hook up at the Narrows. The ride will start from the Narrows Bridge (North Side - where the bike path goes under the freeway bridge) at 8:30 am. THOSE WHO HAVE DONE RIDE SECTION ONE WILL ALSO JOIN AT THIS POINT

The ride will include sections where riders can choose a tougher (hilly sections through Mosman Park) or faster section and we'll continue trialling the Group Riding guidelines. Don't forget to let the ride organiser know if you're joining the ride.

Saturday April 16, 2011 - Ken's Magical Mystery Tour

Ride Organiser: Ken Walters
Organiser's mobile telephone no: 0417 094 198
Ride style: Social
Terrain: Mainly Flat
Estimated Distance: 65 kms+
Start Point: Maylands Railway Station
Start Time: 8:00

Ken's Magical Mystery tour is scheduled for Saturday April 16th. We will start from the Maylands Railway Station at 8:00 (no Narrows hook up). This will be a slow, leisurely ride following the river. Even if you've done this ride before the exact route is a mystery. Will we have a coffee stop or two or three? Will Ken remember the route?...a mystery!
